Kids don't learn to code from lectures — they learn by making a cat sprite dance, breaking it, and figuring out why. Our 6-week Scratch course in Nellore is built exactly that way: an offline, mentor-guided activity lab where children aged 8 and up build animations, stories and games from their very first session.
Scratch, built by MIT for young learners, uses snap-together blocks instead of typed code — so children learn real programming ideas (sequences, loops, conditionals, variables, debugging) without spelling errors getting in the way. Over six weeks they progress from simple animated stories to maze games, catch games and quizzes, and the course ends with each child presenting their own project to the classroom.
Sessions run in kid-friendly weekday and weekend batches at our VRC Center classroom, each child at their own system, in the same Telugu-and-English mix we teach every course in.

The point isn't a career at age ten — it's thinking skills, confidence, and a genuine head start:
Sequencing, loops and conditionals — the same concepts every programming language is built on.
Debugging by observation: what did I expect, what happened, what changed?
Every child finishes and presents a game or story they built themselves.
After Scratch, kids can continue into our Raspberry Pi course — sensors, LEDs and Python-based mini automation.
Ages 8 and up. Scratch's block-based approach works well through the school years — older kids simply build more ambitious projects.
Neither. Every child gets a dedicated system in the lab, and the course assumes no prior exposure to coding at all.
Both weekday and weekend batches are available for kids, with mentor-guided activity sessions. Message us and we'll share the current schedule.
Children who enjoy it usually continue into the Raspberry Pi course — hands-on electronics with sensors and LED projects — or later into Python, which includes kid-friendly Turtle graphics.
Message us on WhatsApp and we'll send the current fee for the kids' Scratch batch, along with the schedule.
